Our Story
The Atlantic Canada Box began as a natural extension of our sister company, The Maritime Box.
Founded in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 2020, The Maritime Box has been a beloved hub for supporting local crafters, makers, and small businesses. When Selena Bil acquired The Maritime Box in the summer of 2023, she reimagined and rebranded it into a thriving version 2.0.
Through this transformation, it became a go-to for curated gift boxes and customizable options, celebrating the unique artistry and heritage of the Maritime provinces.
Building on the success and values of The Maritime Box, The Atlantic Canada Box was born. This new venture focuses on seasonal subscription boxes, offering customers a true taste of life across the region.
Launching in June 2025, The Atlantic Canada Box and The Maritime Box will operate as sister companies, each complementing the other by providing unique ways to discover and celebrate Atlantic Canada.
